Teen Portfolio Preparation is designed for high school students interested in developing a strong body of work for college applications in fine art and design. The course combines academic drawing and painting instruction with individualized guidance based on each student’s interests, experience, and future goals.

Throughout the eight week session, students will complete observational and concept based projects while studying composition, proportion, value, color, perspective, and visual communication. Students preparing for college applications will receive guidance on portfolio selection, project development, documentation, and presentation. Students who are not yet applying to college may use the course to strengthen foundational skills and begin developing a more independent body of work.
