This drawing workshop is perfect for those interested in learning the basics of drawing from life. The course emphasizes an understanding of forms from the inside out, giving artists the tools to be able to draw any object from life.

Please bring a set of graphite pencils and an eraser.

Learn the fundamentals of still life painting with local practicing artist Josh Sorrell. Students will learn how to use color, form, light and shadow to create realistic and insteresting still life compositions.

Materials:

- one set of oil paints, such as the Marie's 18 color set, or like colors

- linseed oil

- oil painting brushes
